FENTON, MI – September 29, 2026 – PRESSADVANTAGE –
MBM Auto Renew documented an August 13, 2026 repair sequence on a Ford Escape that the shop said had been struck by a much larger tire on the road. The Facebook post described extensive dent removal to put the fender back in order, a decontamination wash to remove transferred rubber, and a polish intended to address scratches left after the impact. The notice did not announce a new service line. It recorded a completed combination of dent work, decontamination, and polish on one vehicle using processes already listed on the company website.
Paintless dent repair is the shop’s listed method for small dents, door dings, hail damage, and minor contact when factory paint can be preserved. Company materials say that the work restores the panel without affecting original paint and often takes under an hour to a few hours. The August post used the phrase extensive dent removal on the Escape’s fender and did not publish a clock time or state whether every crease was removed. More serious damage that requires refinishing is outside the limits described for paintless work. The post also did not identify the driver, the other vehicle, or a police report. Those details are therefore not stated here.
“The Escape came in with a pretty significant dent in the fender, along with rubber that had transferred onto the paint,” said Michael Beck, founder of MBM Auto Renew. “We worked the dent as much as we could, then cleaned up the rubber and polished the paint to improve the scratches that were left behind. With a repair like this, we always want to be realistic about what can be corrected without refinishing the panel.”
The decontamination wash described in the August post matches preparation language already on the shop’s ceramic coating page, which calls for a detailed wash and decontamination to clear the surface before any later protection is considered. In this job, the wash was specified as the step that removed rubber left by the tire. No ceramic coating or paint protection film was listed as part of the Escape work. Film remains a separate physical barrier on the site against rock chips, highway gravel, bug splatter, road debris, salt damage, and minor scratches, including model-specific and custom kits for cars, trucks, SUVs, and specialty vehicles such as Mustangs, Broncos, and Corvettes. Combined film and coating work is a common sequence on other vehicles and was not part of this post.
The polish step sits inside the shop’s paint correction materials. Those pages describe paint correction as a clear-coat refining process that can address surface-level swirl marks, fine scratches, oxidation, water spots, light etching, and dullness. Polishing is described as part of that process. Deeper scratches that go through the clear coat may not be fully removable. Technicians are directed to explain what can be safely corrected and what may remain, and to avoid a heavier multi-stage process than the paint requires. Methods are described as improving the finish without thinning or compromising the clear coat. Typical paint correction time is two to eight hours. The August post called the final step a polish to remove leftover scratches and did not state that every scratch was gone.
Ceramic coating claims on the company site remain the shop’s own service descriptions and were not applied to this Escape in the August post. That page says professional-grade coatings can last several years, with longevity dependent on maintenance and environmental exposure, and attributes resistance to ultraviolet rays, oxidation, chemical stains, and environmental contaminants to those coatings. No independent laboratory study is cited on the website.
All services at MBM Auto Renew come with a quality assurance guarantee, with specific warranty terms depending on the service provided. The website does not publish a single term length or a list of exclusions for that shop guarantee. Manufacturer warranties attached to film products, including terms of up to 10 years described on the homepage FAQ, apply to those products when they are installed and were not cited on the Escape job.
Window tinting remains a listed service for heat, glare, and ultraviolet exposure and was not part of the August post. Interior repair and windshield chip repair appear on the About page service list and were also not described on this Escape.
“Road rubber and a folded fender are two different problems,” Beck said. “Dent removal works the metal. The wash lifts the contaminant. The polish only refines what is still in the clear coat. The August Escape is on the record because those three steps were the job, not because a coating or film package was sold with them.”
MBM Auto Renew was founded by Michael Beck, whose site biography lists more than 30 years in dealership reconditioning and identifies him as founder and a paintless dent repair veteran. The Fenton company describes itself as a hands-on shop rather than a volume installer, working on new vehicles and on worn paint and damaged panels. Listed services include ceramic coating, paint correction, window tinting, paintless dent repair, and custom paint protection film. The August 13 post is the company’s public record of the Ford Escape receiving fender dent removal, a decontamination wash for tire rubber, and a polish for remaining scratches after a road-tire impact.
